Nelle aree dove il servizio HSDPA non è disponibile la scheda Globetrotter HSDPA consente comunque connesioni dati affidabili e sicure utilizzando gli standard UMTS (fino a 384 Kbps), EDGE (fino a 247 Kbps) oppure GPRS (fino a 85.6 Kbps).
